Emerald Research is a small, focused geoscience technology company. Established in 1994 as Diamond Geoscience Research, Emerald Research specializes in assisting oil and gas companies with 3-D geophysical prospect and reservoir evaluations. Analyses include 3-D rock property and reflectivity modeling, 3-D reservoir characterization, 3-D AVO inversion producing a 3-D "Density Cube™", 3-D time and  depth migration, and 3-D ray-trace modeling. That focus has not changed.

Emerald Research has established itself as a "world class" geophysical exploration and development advisory group. Utilizing its proprietary software, Emerald Research technology is helping "selected" companies to reduce risk by better understanding reservoir properties. Successful application of such proprietary technologies as 3-D hydrocarbon saturation detection (low-gas saturation detection) and 3-D net sand prediction help to optimize the selection of well locations and platform placements as well as increase the efficiency of reservoir draining through optimal well placement.
